Neurodivergent Coaching

Working Approach

Chantal works from a neuro-affirming, nervous-system-informed framework. Sessions prioritize regulation, clarity, and practical strategy development. Rather than focusing solely on behavior change, she explores underlying cognitive load, sensory input, executive functioning demands, and environmental fit.

Her approach combines psychoeducation, collaborative problem-solving, environmental adjustments, and skill-building tailored to each individual’s profile. The goal is sustainable functioning rather than short-term compliance.

Individual Sessions

Individual sessions are structured yet flexible. They typically include:

  • Exploration of current challenges through a nervous-system lens
  • Psychoeducation about executive functioning, emotional regulation, or sensory processing
  • Collaborative development of practical tools and environmental adjustments
  • Implementation planning with realistic pacing

For children, sessions include developmentally appropriate explanations of how their brain works, alongside concrete strategies that support regulation and skill acquisition. For teens and adults, sessions focus on building routines, systems, communication strategies, and energy management

practices that reduce overwhelm.

Group Sessions

Group sessions provide a structured space for skill-building, shared learning, and normalization of neurodivergent experiences. Themes may include:

  • Executive functioning strategies
  • Emotional regulation skills
  • Identity and masking
  • Communication and boundary-setting

Groups emphasize peer validation, psychoeducation, and practical exercises that participants can apply in daily life.
